About LS Pay

LS Pay is an abstraction layer for simplifying the integration of payment services, a universal language translator for payment service providers (PSP Payment Service Provider). LS Pay abstracts the usage of payment services so the different solutions of LS Retail can implement one connection to LS Pay without having to code each API or terminal supported by a PSP. The complexity of maintaining connection and data mapping to the communication protocols varies between PSPs and will be encapsulated in LS Pay.

LS Pay is a set of interfaces that provide payment and payment related services. It uses a plugin Implemented extension for a given platform or gateway supplied by a PSP. type architecture so every supported PSP contains its own integration. LS Pay is a .NET Portable Class Library (PCL), which means it is platform independent. However, the PSP plugins can have platform limitations.

In some cases LS Pay does provide other services related to the payment terminal, for example barcode reading, line item display, and other services. Refer to the plugin documentation for details on supported functionality.
