PAX

The connection is session-based: open a session before communicating, and end it after a final result has been delivered.

Settings

  • IP Address of the PED, located in settings on the device.
  • Port number, default value is set to 3008.
  • Timeout in seconds, default value is set to 60.
  • Merchant ID, supplied by Global Payments.
  • Merchant secret key, provided by Global Payments.
  • Use Unique POS ID. If set to true, it will use a unique ID for each transaction request provided in the POS. This is to make sure that IDs that do not meet the criteria given by Global Payments will hinder transactions being posted to the gateway.

EFT

  • Purchase
    • Tips supported from the PED
  • Refund
    • Stand-alone refunds
    • Referenced refund
  • Void
    • Any transaction can be voided (reversal).
  • Get last transaction
    • Latest transaction is stored locally on the PED.
  • Get transaction
    • It is possible to retrieve any transaction by the unique POS ID.

Printing

  • Print last receipt, for the last transaction successfully processed on the PED.

Standard

Integration for standard Ethernet-connected PED. Receipts are not returned from LS Pay.
