Network International N-Genius

This article describes the implementation of the Network International N-Genius plugin in the LS Pay Engine. The N-Genius platform supports both traditional and alternative payment methods, such as Payment Cards (Traditional and Wallet), ALIPAY+, WeChat, Easy Payment Plan, Loyalty, etc.

Setup

To connect the N-Genius device to the internet you need to open up the menu and go to Connectivity. Next tap WIFI Settings and input 11111 for the WIFI control pin and setup your connection.

Settings

  • URL Prefix: The URL for transaction initiation.
  • Client ID: The Client ID credentials provided by Network International.
  • Secret: Secret associated with Client ID.
  • MID: Merchant ID - shown on main screen on terminal.
  • TID: Terminal ID - shown on main screen on terminal.
  • Live Environment: Boolean for production or test environment.

Capabilities

EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer)

  • Purchase
    • Returns a purchase response.
  • Refund
    • Returns a refund response.
  • Void
    • Returns a void response or an error if the transaction cannot be voided.
  • GetLastTransaction
    • Returns a response containing the information from the last response the PED sent to the POS.
  • X Report
    • Returns a response containing a receipt showing the Mid day report.
  • Z Report
    • Returns a response containing a receipt showing the End of day report.

EAM (External Accessory Management)

  • Update
    • Updates configuration and/or APKs on PED.

Barcode Scanner

  • Not implemented.

Notes

  • Z Report is needed either from POS or on terminal each day to be able to start a transaction.
