PSAM
Before connection can be established, a pre-setup is needed. The terminal is USB connected and needs Ingenico driver to handle the communication with the terminal.
Java must also be installed along with Visual Studio packages.

Settings
- Threshold Limit: Wait time when initial loading is in progress, default value is 10000 milliseconds.
- Timeout Value: Wait time when waiting for response from terminal, default value is 3000 milliseconds.
- Integration Method: Purchase setup indicated, Dual if card details should be used to determine if surcharge should be added (affects the amount displayed), or Single if nothing is to be added. Default value is Dual.

Card data
- Details of a card can be requested, card will be inserted, taped, or scanned on the PED and details returned to the POS.
Properties
- Clock Sync: Function is available to sync clock on the PED with EAMProperties value DateTime.
SmartPOS
An Android application running on Castle devices, using Android.Intent to manage communication to the card application.
Settings
- Receipt Auto Print: If set to true, it will automatically print receipts on the PED.
- Require Signature: If set to true, the cardholder is required to sign on the receipt printed.
